Nick Proffitt consults with building owners who are making decisions about future projects and introduces them to Messer. Contact Nick if you'd like to consult with Messer about an upcoming project.

Mark Luegering leads our Cincinnati organization. If you're a community leader, member of the press, or simply wish to speak with a construction expert, please contact Mark.

Since 1932, Messer employees have been building our region’s landmark buildings while supporting hundreds of organizations with corporate and employee contributions, personal leadership, energy, and time.

Our clients come back to us time and again for their building needs, clients like Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, The University of Cincinnati, Fidelity Investments, and Cincinnati Financial Corporation. We’re proud of our longstanding relationships with these business partners and others.

We owe our longevity to our community's endurance and growth. To contribute to our community’s sustainability we support the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Fine Arts Fund, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Cincinnati, the Ohio Cancer Research Association and many others. We also work to include minority- and woman-owned businesses on every Messer project.

In 2008, Messer presented the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati with a $25,000 Messer Foundation Grant.  The grant was used to bring "Rosie's Girls" to Cincinnati.  "Rosie's Girls" is a summer day camp that encourages girls to learn trade and technical skills that help them build strength, power and confidence.

The Spirit of Construction Foundation selected Peter S. Strange, Messer's Chairman and CEO, to receive its 12th annual Spirit of Construction Award. Honorees are selected for their leadership, accomplishments, ethics and contributions to the construction industry and to society.

Messer gave the Woodward Career Technical High School a $25,000 Messer Foundation Grant. The school used the grant to purchase equipment to help train students in the construction program.
