Matt began his career with Messer in 1998 as a co-op while studying construction management at the University of Cincinnati. He graduated in 2002 and was hired on full time as a project manager in the Dayton region. Matt is also a graduate of Leadership Dayton Class of 2019.

He has provided leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus regions, including health care, aviation, industrial and nonprofit. He also served as the account lead for all Messer projects at Miami University in Dayton and has pharmaceutical construction experience having led project work for Alkermes. Matt’s project expertise and leadership helped him progress to his current role as vice president for Messer’s Dayton region.

Matt is active in the Dayton community and serves on the boards of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Dayton and Habitat for Humanity Dayton; he is a past board member for the Ohio Valley Associated Builders and Contractors and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County. He is now on the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees.
