Paul Schmidt
Vice President, Columbus Region Leader
Paul began his career with Messer in 2001 after graduating from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Over the past 20+ years, Paul has worked on several projects in Messer’s Columbus region, including The Ohio State University North Residential District Transformation, OhioHealth’s Riverside Methodist Hospital I-3 Radiology, NICU Expansion and Surgery Modernization (among others), and a new Surgery Center for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Paul currently serves on the board for the ACE (Architecture, Construction, Engineering) Mentoring Program of Central Ohio and was a member of the Leadership Columbus class of 2021. Some of his other interests include carpentry and 3D modeling software.
