Cincinnati District 3 Police Station: The first Net-Zero Energy police station in the United States
The District 3 building was constructed in 1908 and was both structurally and technologically obsolete - lacking sufficient parking, community space and space for staff and storage. Today, has structural and technological improvements to better service 14 neighborhoods across 20 square miles. During preconstruction our team created a plan to use precast panels rather than masonry. This maintained the aesthetics of the building while reducing both cost and schedule.
