Description

This 40,000 sf interactive Black Music Walk of Fame showcases high-quality granite, stainless steel fixtures, top-of-the-line electronic components, and carefully curated landscaping design for an engaging experience. It showcases Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio Black musicians who have changed the music industry and is a focal point of the Cincinnati riverfront at The Banks.

Features

  • Messer completed the project on time and below budget.
  • The project site was located on a busy intersection next to a music venue and football stadium. Due to the high visibility of the project, Messer ensured the site was clean and organized at all times and safe for pedestrians attending concerts and events.
  • Messer achieved 26.5% M/WBE participation on this project compared to the owner’s goal of 20%.
  • ABC Ohio Valley Excellence in Construction “Eagle” Award winner.
  • Cincinnati Design Awards Landscape Architecture & Community Planning – Implementation winner.
