  • Architect: GBBN
  • Mechanical Engineer: Prater Engineering
  • Structural Engineer: THP
  • Civil Engineer: Woolpert

Description

This multi-phased project included the build out of a new White Rabbit Bottle Shop, a revamped stone tour path, renovation of Barrel House 114, and a replica build out of Lem Motlow’s historic home that currently sits in front of the distillery grounds. The second phase included an additional parking lot to accommodate tourist demand and full renovation of the Jack Daniel's Visitor Center that features the Red Dog Cafe.

Features

  • This unique project is a renovation of the oldest active barrel house on the distillery grounds. It's the first of its kind to remain an active barrel house on one side, allowing each guest to walk through an active barrel house and breathe in the angels share; while the other side features glass enclosed tasting pavilions and gathering space for tastings and other events.
  • The visitor center remained operational during construction as we coordinated with the owner to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
