Description

The project included an expansion and renovation of the security checkpoint, expansion of the rotunda Starbucks, a club room, business center, six regional jet gates, a new Flight Information Display System, wall covering and column wrap replacements, new carpeting and ceilings, skylight and lighting replacements and upgraded HVAC systems.

 

Features

  • Construction was in progress during peak travel times including the Kentucky Derby, the Future Farmers of America Convention and Thanksgiving.
  • Messer created “Mission” signs and hung them throughout the airport. The message reflected the goals to keep everyone safe, minimize disruptions to airport operations and keep Louisville’s door step (the airport) clean and user friendly.
