Description

This is a 90,000 sf airplane maintenance hangar; it includes a main hangar bay, parts storage, shop space, training rooms, locker rooms, break rooms and offices.

 

Features

  • All work had to be complete by June 1. Lean management tools were used to track subcontractor progress and ensure we met this critical deadline. Virtual Design and Construction coordination was a critical tool for above ceiling installation to be ready as soon as steel construction was complete.
  • Messer achieved 40% S/M/WBE participation exceeding the 20% S/M/WBE requirement.
  • 2017 AGC of Tennessee Award of Excellence in new construction under $50M.
