Features

  • This project was the first to utilize Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) in the region. IPD strives to reduce inefficiencies in the design and construction process while driving predictability through the collaborative use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Lean Construction tools.
  • The project achieved a 30% reduction in annual energy consumption to a comparable space with minimal up-front investment.
  • Messer created operational mock-ups on a large scale. The physicians and staff conducted simulated patient scenarios in the mock-ups and offered recommendations for changes. This ensured the final product perfectly suited the owner’s needs.
