Description

This project included the renovation of a 142,000 sf, 16-story, concrete structure constructed for apartment style dormitory units. Features

  • Our team used off-site constructed bathroom units for this project. The units arrived to the site complete with all bathroom fixtures and ready to install. This led to a safer and cleaner site and enhanced schedule reliability and quality.
  • Scioto Hall was renovated with recycled materials and featured environmentally friendly features such as an energy recovery system and the use of 2,000 glass panels that improves insulation.
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) enabled our team to virtually model the facility’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems prior to construction, ultimately reducing cost and increasing the reliability of the construction schedule.
  • LEED Gold Certified.
